36 Obat Susah BAB atau Sembelit di Apotik – Jaman modern seperti sekarang ini banyak ditemukan penyakit akibat salah pola makan. Salah satu penyakit yang timbul akibat pola makan yaitu sembelit. Istilah medisnya yaitu konstipasi dan orang lebih sering menyebutnya susah buang air besar. Susah BAB ( Buang Air Besar ) atau sembelit , sering juga disebut dengan istilah dalam medis yaitu  konstipasi. Pengertian konstipasi adalah kondisi dimana frekuensi untuk buang air besar menjadi berkurang. Sebenarnya tidak ada patokan atau batasan normal untuk berapa kali BAB, karena tiap orang akan berbeda, tetapi bila tubuh tidak mengeluarkan tinja lebih dari 3 hari atau bahkan seminggu, maka struktur tinja akan semakin mengeras dan akan semakin sulit untuk dikeluarkan. Sembelit atau gejala susah buang air besar di sebabkan salah satunya karena fases kurang air. Sehingga perjalanan feses dari mulai usus besar sampai dengan dubur memerlukan waktu yang lama. Kadar air yang kurang ini akan membuat feses mengeras. Selain menyebabkan feses menjadi tampak kering, kekurangan konsumsi minum ini akan membuat feses lebih susah untuk keluar.

Banyak yang beranggapan bila sembelit atau susah BAB diakibatkan karena kurang serat dalam tubuh, padahal ada beberapa penyebab lainnya selain kurangnya serat dalam tubuh, Berikut beberapa penyebab sembelit atau susah BAB yaitu 

a. Gaya hidup juga berpengaruh terhadap konstipasi yang kadang dirasakan, tentu saja seperti kurang serat dan kurangnya asupan cairan dalam tubuh seperti air putih yang dapat memicu konstipasi atau feses keras. Perubahan pola makan dari biasanya dnegan porsi sedikit kemudian menjadi porsi besar juga dapat menjadi pemicu. Terlalu banyak mengkonsumsi produk olahan susu dan kurang berolahraga tentu juga dapat menimbulkan gejala susah BAB.
b. Jangan pernah menunda untuk BAB ketika merasa, karena jika ditunda justru hal itu dapat memicu terjadinya konstipasi.
c. Faktor psikis juga dapat mempengaruhi sembelit karena jika sedang dilanda kecemasan atau depresi, orang cenderung mengabaikan rasa ketika ingin buang air besar / BAB.
d. Sulit BAB juga dapat menjadi pertanda munculnya penyakit yang ada dalam tubuh sepertimasalah baru yaitu penyakit saluran cerna, pada saluran pembuangan dan yang berkaitan dengan itu. Jadi anda perlu waspada jika mengalami sulit BAB selama berhari – hari.
e. Selain itu ternyata susah BAB pada ibu hamil juga dapat disebabkan karena faktor kehamilan, terutama pada kehamilan trimester awal karena selama kehamilan, tubuh memproduksi lebih banyak hormon progesteron yang efeknya dapat mengendurkan otot, sehingga menyulitkan otot usus untuk berkontraksi. Hal ini yang menyebabkan ibu yang sedang hamil kadang mengalami sembelit atau konstipasi.
f. Pengaruh konsumsi obat juga dapat memicu terjadinya sembelit, misal seperti penggunaan obat diuretik, obat dengan kandungan zat besi, dan terlalu berlebihan mengkonsumsi obat laksatif juga dapat menjadi faktor penyebab susah BAB.
Setelah mengetahui hal apa saja yang dapat mempengaruhi gejalasusah BAB, tentunya ada hal-halyang juga dapat membantu memperlancar BAB atau pencegahan sembelit atau konstipasi, beberapa hal antaranya sebagai berikut ׃
a. Konsumsi air putih yang cukup, hal ini bertujuan melunakkan feses agar tekstur feses tidak keras sehingga pengeluarannya menjadi mudah, selain itu juga untuk mencegah terjadinya dehidrasi dalam tubuh. Mulailah konsumsi air putih saat bangun tidur pagi hingga malam menjelang tidur kurang lebih 8 gelas sehari untuk melancarkan buang air besar.
b. Konsumsi makanan tinggi serat seperti sayur dan buah yang banyak mengandung tinggi serat karena kebutuhan tubuh akan serat setiap hari kurang lebih 18 – 30 gram, tetapi juga perlu diingat jangan sampai terlalu berlebihan karena juga tidak baik untuk saluran pencernaan.
c. Posisikan lutut lebih tinggi dari pinggang ketika sedang buang air besar, hal ini akan mempermudah feses untuk keluar.
d. Lakukan aktivitas seperti olahraga ringan agar tubuh tetap bergerak, missal seperti jalan kaki cukup 15 menit sehari, juga dapat memperlancar proses pencernaan dalam tubuh.
e. Jangan pernah menahan rasa ingin BAB, karena jika ditunda rasa BAB akan hilang yang kemudian akan menyebabkan konstipasi atau sembelit,
f. Jika konstipasi terjadi pada anak, baiknya berikan probiotik terlebih dahulu dan buah kaya serat. Probiotik ini pun dapat diberikan juga untuk dewasa dengan dosis yang menyesuaikan.

Apabila dengan mengubah gaya hidup dan pola makan belum berhasil, biasanya dokter baru akan meresepkan obat-obatan, khususnya jenis obat pencahar atau laksatif untuk Anda. Banyak jenis obat pencahar yang dijual di apotik. Macam obat pencahar atau laksatif ada beberapa yang sudah cukup terkenal, dalam bentuk sediaan tablet minum maupun yang dimasukkan langsung ke dalam dubur. Beberapa macam contoh obat pencahar atau laksatif untuk melancarkan BAB yang ada di Apotik yaitu ׃
1. BICOLAX
Mengandung Bisakodil 5 mg
Dosis dewasa sebagai pencahar biasa 2 – 3 tablet sesuai kebutuhan, untuk pengosongan usus sama sekali sampai 6 tablet. Dosis untuk anak  cukup 1 – 2 tab sehari.
2. CODYLAX
Mengandung Bisakodil 5 mg
Dosis dewasa dan anak > 12 tahun ׃ 2 tab diminum sebelum tidur untuk efek defikasi keesok paginya atau diminum ½ jam sebelum makan pagi untuk menimbulkan efek defikasi kira – kira 5 jam berikutnya. Pada keadaan konstipasi yang sulit diatasi dengan dosis ditingkatkan menjadi 4 tab. Dosis untuk anak usia 6 – 12 tahun ׃ sehari 1 tab diminum sebelum tidur dan harus ditelan tanpa dikunyah. Pemberian obat ini harus dihindari dengan antasida.
3. CUSTODIOL
Mengandung Bisakodil 5 mg dalam sediaan tablet dan suppositoria.
Dosis dewasa ׃ 2 – 3 tab / hari atau 1 supp / hari. Dosis untuk anak usia 6 – 12 tahun ׃ 1 tab / hari atau 1 supp/ hari.
4. DULCOLAX
Mengandung Bisakodil 10 mg/ sup 5 mg/ sup anak 5 mg/ tab.
Dosis untuk mengatasi konstipasi, tab dewasa dan anak > 10 tahun ׃ 1 kali sehari 1 – 2 tab ( 5 – 10 mg ) anak 6 – 10 tahun ׃ 1 kali sehari 1 tab ( 5 mg ). Supp dewasa dan anak > 10 tahun ׃ 1 kali sehari 1 supp ( 10 mg ) anak 6 – 10 tahun ׃ 1 kali sehari supp anak ( 5 mg ).
5. FLEET ENEMA
Mengandung Monobasic Na Fosfat 19 gram, dibasic Na Fosfat 7 gram.
Dosis dewasa dan anak > 12 tahun ׃ 1 botol/ hari dosis tunggal.
6. FLEET PHOSPOSODA
Mengandung Monobasic Na Fosfat 2.4 gram, dibasic Na fosfat 0.9 gram.
Dosis dewasa dan anak > 12 tahun ׃ 20 – 45 mL atau 4 – 9 sdteh/ hari, dosis anak 5 – 11 tahun ׃ 10 – 20 mL atau 2 – 4 sd/ hari.
7. GLISERIN
Mengandung Glycerolum.
Dosis diisikan secukupnya pada pompa clysma.
8. KOMPOLAX
Mengandung Parafin Liquidum 1.5 gram, Fenolftalein 75 mg, Gliserin 1 gram.
Dosis dewasa 2 sd takar larutan dosis anak usia 6 – 12 tahun ׃ 1 sd takar larutan.
9. LACONS
Mengandung Lactulose 3.35 gram.
Dosis untuk konstipasi diminum pada waktu makan pagi, besarnya dosis disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masing – masing penderita.
10. LACTUGRA
Mengandung Lactulose 5 mL.
Dosis untuk keadaan parah sehari 2 kali 15 mL seklai minum, untuk keadaan sedang 15 – 30 mL sehari, keadaan ringan 15 mL sehari. Dosis untuk anak – anak 5 – 10 tahun sehari 2 kali 10 mL tiap minum, usia 1 – 5 tahun sehari 2 kali 5 mL.
11. LACTULAX
Mengandung Lactulose 3.335 gram / 5 mL sirup.
Dosis awal sehari 3 kali 50 mL, selanjutnya besarnya dosis disesuaikan untuk mencegah timbulnya diare. Dapat diberikan bersama makanan untuk mengurangi rasa tidak nyaman pada GI.
12. LANTULOS
Mengandung laktulosa 3.430 gram/ 5 mL larutan.
Dosis awal sehari 2 kali 15 mL, dosis penunjang  15 – 25 mL. Sedangkan untuk kondisi sedang dosis aal 15 – 30 mL, dosis penunjang 10 – 15 mL.
13. LAXADINE
Mengandung Phenolphtalein 55 miligram, paraffin liquidum 1200 miligram, glycerin 378 mg.
Dosis dewasa dan anak >12 tahun : 1 kali dalam sehari 1-2 sendok makan, usia 6-12 tahun : 1 kali dalam sehari ½ – 1 sendok makan. Baiknya obat ini dikonsumsi pada malam hari menjelang tidur untuk mendapatkan efek defikasi esok paginya.
14. LAXADILAC
Mengandung Laktulosa 3.335 gram/ 5 mL sirup.
Dosis dewasa 15 – 30 mL sehari, bila perlu dosis dapat ditingkatkan menjadi 4 kali sehari 5 mL. Dosis anak usia 6 – 14 tahun sehari 10 – 15 mL, usia 1 – 6 tahun sehari 5 – 10 mL, bayi sehari 5 mL.
15. LAXAMEX
Mengandung Bisakodil 5 mg.
16. LAXANA
Mengandung Bisakodil 5 mg/ tab salut.
Dosis dewasa sehari 1 kali 1 supp atau sehari 1 kali 2 tab, jika perlu 4 tab. Dosis usia > 4 tahun sehari 1 kali 1 supp anak atau 1 kali sehari 1 tab, diberikan pada malam hari sebelum tidur.
17. LAXATAB
Mengandung Dioktil Na-sulfosuxinat 50mg.
Dapat diberikan setelah makan atau malam menjelang tidur.
18. LAXAREC
Mengandung Na Laurilsulfat 45 mg, asam sorbet 5 mg, polietilenglikol 625 mg, na sitrat 450 mg, sorbitol 4.465 mg/ 5 gram jelly.
Dosis dewasa 1 tube untuk sekali pakai. Untuk anak 1 tube 2 kali pakai. Penggunaannya dimasukkan ke dalam dubur dengan bantuan aplikator.
19. LAXOBERON
Mengandung Na-pikosulfat7.5 mg/ mls.
Dosis dewasa 1 kali sehari 10 – 20 tetes, anak 4 – 10 tahun 1 kali sehari 5 – 10 tetes.
20. MICROLAX
Mengandung Na-lauril sulfoasetat 45 mg, Na-sitrat 450 mg, asam sorbet 5 mg, PEG-400 625 mg, sorbitol 4.465 mg.
21. OPILAX
Mengandung Lactulose 3,335 gram/ 5 mL.
Dosis awal sehari selama 3 hari pertama 15 mL,dosis pemeliharaan 10 mL.
22. PISUCON
Mengandung Na picosulfat 7.5 mg.
Dosis dewasa dan anak > 10 tahun ׃ 10 – 20 tetes ( 5 – 10 mg ), anak 4 – 10 tahun ׃ 5 – 10 tetes ( 2,5 – 5 mg ).
23. SOLAC
Mengandung Lactulosa 3.335 gram/ 5 mL sirup.
Dosis sehari 15 mL untuk 3 hari pertama, diikuti sehari 10 mL. Anak 5 – 10 tahun sehari 10 mL 2 kali untuk 3 hari pertama, diikuti sehari 10 mL.
24. STOLAX
Mengandung Bisakodil 10 mg.
Dosis dewasa dan anak > 12 tahun sehari 1 supp anak < 12 tahun sehari ½ supp. Gunakan selama 3 bulan setelah kemasan dibuka.
Selain dengan obat pencahar yang tersedia di Apotik, untuk membantu melancarkan BAB dapat juga dengan cara alami mengatasi susah BAByaitu dengan mengkonsumsi beberapa jenis makanan seperti sayur dan buah yang mudah kita jumpai dalam kehidupan sehari – hari, misal seperti ׃
25. JAGUNG
Selain kita tahu kalau jagung merupakan sumber karbohidrat pengganti beras, ternyata jagung memiliki kandungan serat. Jagung adalah salah satu sumber serat yang sulit dicerna oleh tubuh sehingga jagung akan mendorong semua kotoran yang tertahan di dalam perut yang dapat mengakibatkan sembelit.

31. KACANG – KACANGAN
Jenis kacang yang dimaksut dalam jenis ini yaitu seperti kacang merah, kacang mete dan kacang almond. Siapa yang tidak tahu dari 3 jenis kacang – kacangan tersebut, kandungan serat dan protein serta nutrisi lainnya banyak terdapat di dalamnya. Missal seperti kacang merah, serat yang terkandung pada kacang merah diketahui mampu merangsang pergerakan usus besar dan mendorong pengeluaran feses, juga kemampuannya dalam memperlambat penyerapan karbohidrat juga sangat berguna dalam membantu mencegah terjadinya lonjakan gula darah selepas makan. 32. OATMEAL
Oartmeal dapat kita konsumsi sebagai pengganti nasi atau roti saat sarapan, selain mengenyangkan, ternyata pada oatmeal juga mengandung banyak serat yang dapat membantu melancarkan proses BAB.
